Time to find peace…

Do you feel as if your life is full of stress? Then its time to do what I call a 360. Look around at your friends, family, job, and relationships to see what needs to change.

This meditation Monday I want to teach you how to find peace in your day to day life. One truth that must be told before peace is achieved is… what is the source of the stress?

  • If the stress comes from finances, take a moment and write down your bills.
    • Check out Dave Ramsey which is and incredible resource for budgets and a debt free life!!!
  • Relationships- learn how to say goodbye to people who do not positively contribute to your faith and development.
  • Family- write out what the issues are in your family, what problems and concerns have you been holding on through the years and ask yourself two questions:
    • What would your day look like if I chose to forgive them?
    • What would my life look like if they were not in it?

The answers to this question will allow you to see if that person should be in your life. This also allows you to see that forcing the family member has nothing to do with the opposing family member and everything to do with your daily peace. Forgiving your family member will free you from the obligation of anger, sadness, and stress.

Best Meditation Apps

In 2019 most of the things we use in our everyday life is located on our phone. I’d like to share with you the top 5 meditation apps in 2019.

1.Breethe

I love this app because it is FREE! Breethe is a free app that follows users throughout the day, from the time they wake up to the time they go to sleep. It provides them with supportive tools and guidance to help them stay on track with their meditation practices throughout the day. It offers five-minute meditations, along with tips for overcoming pressure, feeling love, and living with intention and inner peace. It is fully customizable, making it a user-friendly app to help support your practice.

2. Buddhify

With this mindfulness app, meditation sessions are organized by theme according to where you are in your day. It is widely known to be one of the best apps for anxiety, and is personalized depending on what you’re up to, from waking up, commuting or taking a quick break at work to dealing with stress or having trouble falling asleep.

3.Calm

This app brings joy, peace, and a sense of clarity to your everyday life. Millions of people agree that this app is great for meditation, mindfulness, and changing your life in a positive way.

4. Mindfulness Daily

This is another mindfulness app that will only take a few minutes of your time each day and provide you with invaluable benefits. The app supports quick, effective guided practices to reduce stress and anxiety, improve performance, and enhance sleep (along with the growing list of other evidence-based benefits of mindfulness, like pain management).

5. Simply Being

Simply Being is a solid, affordable app that features voice-guided meditations as well as relaxing nature sounds. Used by both beginners and professionals, this app allows you to meditate easily with step-by-step guidance. You can decide how much time you want to dedicate to your meditation session, from 5 to 30 minutes, and choose to listen to music, nature sounds, or silence. Simply Being urges users to deeply relax and experience the present moment.

O the SHADE

Do you want to know what I love about the shade, in the shade you are protected from the heat of the day.

As an adult we go through so much with relationships, children, work and dreams we need the shade every now and then.  Standing in heat, no matter how beautiful the day, can be damaging. Always being on social media, constantly working, committing yourself to everything on the social calendar can be exhausting. So, take a moment to be in the shade!

Take time to unplug and be fed spiritually, emotionally, find out who you are without all beams pointing toward you.
