One of the most interesting things I have learned from being a pastor and a CEO is that everyone is not going to like you or accept your help. Your heart and desire could be to save the world and bring everyone with you but that simply isn’t how life is. Even the word of God says that the poor will be with you always, meaning that there are people who will not want better for themselves, work hard, or appreciate the opportunity you give them. And THAT’S OK, people of God we have to remember our daily job is to simply be a light that shows Gods love. A light… not the raft, or evacuating airplane. Be the best you, shine Gods light on your job, home and community, then leave the rest up to God. Trust me, He’s big enough to handle it! Selah.
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride! This is your personal opportunity to tune into the matchless power of God through meditation. God has given you and I the ability to move past the trials tribulations of the day. Tune into peace and reject destructive thoughts with this meditation.
Welcome back to meditation Monday!!!!! In life, we need to learn how to turn off the “busyness” of life a tune into God. Sometimes the simple quiet moment is the very thing you need to reenergize your mind and soul. Enjoy this meditation session with Dr. Michael Beckwith.
It is not your job to make sure everyone around you understands and accepts you. If you live a life juggling peoples impression of you, you will live a life full of frustration and exhaustion. Instead, live a life that is fulfilling to God, and the rest will fall into place. Allow God to be the avenger of your character and intentions. Make a point in your day to be your best and give your best, then leave the rest up to God. That is when you infuse peace into your existence. Selah #SLiM #truth #inspiration #life #keepitreal
Last of the month, mediation Monday! Has making meditation apart of your life brought about peace and confidence? Comment below and tell me about how meditation changed or uplifted your day.
If you are a child of God than you understand that you are alive today because God loves you and woke you up this morning. That is a reason to be grateful, and we as the people of God should start the day in gratefulness. Being appreciative of the life, love and freedom we have been given each day. Gratefulness then becomes our attitude through out the day with our children, spouse, and coworkers. When something goes wrong in the day, we can lean on that same gratefulness and appreciate the opportunity to live past and grow out of the stressful situation. You see, gratefulness is a tool that can transform your perspective in life, allowing you to breath a little deeper in appreciation of the life you were given and don’t deserve. Today decide to be grateful for the life you were given.
It’s time for mediation Monday again! Time to get quite in your spirit so that you can hear what God is saying to you in this moment of your life. Unclog your heart and choose today to tune into the most comforting love there is, which is the love of God.
