I almost lost me:

The past me smiled when sadness viewed

With “likes” and “hearts” and things to do

I puffed my chest

But curled in bed

And prayed to pride to rest its head

I danced and clapped when silence gloomed

Around most people and empty rooms

But… If I don’ts… abraded my thoughts

The best of me I almost lost

The past me cares about what you think

But past is gone and now there’s me

#meditationmonday

Welcome back to meditation Monday! Today we are going to tune into the aspect of worship. One of the most amazing ways to block out the world, and tune into the internal voice of God inside of you… is through worship.

Worship a key that ignites the faith inside of you. When you slow down your day and make positive proclamations about God and life, God then pours His joy, His peace, and His goodness over both you and your situation. Psalms 49:10 says ” be still and know that I am God” acknowledging God and His greatness in spite of anything going on around you is the solution to your restlessness, stress, and anguish.

Check out this group called The Walls Group and their song “MY Worship”  … Get to a quiet place and tune into the love of God. Selah

I’m not shaken….

Today the quote “be you bravely” came across my Instagram and I immediately thought of these last few seasons in my life. No matter what has or has not transpired, God keeps finding a way to remind me that I am His child, I hold His promises in my life, and I succeed because I have Him which is the success. You see, the world would like to forget who you are and exchange a kingly robe for a weapon… but I challenge you today to apply the word of God to your trials. Seek first the kingdom of God and watch your issues become the foundation of the greatest breakthrough yet! Selah.

Tonight I want you to remember who you belong to, if you are a child of God then put down your weapon and pick up your crown! Selah.

Selah.

A true Father takes the lead

I love my Bishop Holcomb… He just knocked me out of my see with a revelation. So many times in our relationship with God, as Christians, we tend to think that life in Christ means a life without problems when that is not true. Life with Christ means that no matter what situation you are in, God is able to help you!

Bad things happen to all people, but because you have God, you have tools such as increased PEACE and His POWER so that you can handle the bad!!!!

How????

Like this- When you have an understanding that God is greater than your trial or tribulations, you then understand that in God everything will be alright. God extend His power to us so that when trials come, we can rest easy because as Christians we understand the victory is already ours. Now it’s time for you to tell yourself who wins … the enemy which may also be called your situation, or God?  When you choose God, you are taking your hands off of the situation and allowing God to lead. The beauty of God leading is that He is a guaranteed win, there is not a failure in God… Don’t believe me, read your word.

You can go ahead and shout now… that’s life changing information!

Deep and wide????

In my spirit today I kept hearing deep and wide… I said ok God what are you telling me today? He said to me that we His people have to look for Him in multiple dimensions. Sometimes in our relationship with God we keep things redundant. Pray in the morning, church on Sunday, Wednesday maybe, but what’s fresh and new in your relationship with God?  Take a moment to think about it. How do you keep the relationship alive with God?

If you have no answer then this word is for you! Today ask God to make your relationship with Him fresh. Look for God on your job, at the store, with your best friend. Switch things up and intentionality look for an opportunity to enjoy God and for God to enjoy you!

Home alone but not lonely #stayathomemom

I am a stay at home mom and one of the reasons why I enjoy what I do, is because I have connected my love with my mission. I love my kids, and by trade, I am a Veteran who was a medical administrator. To satisfy a desire, I must organize and well… administer… I found lessons and crafts that teach my children but also challenged me to use my gift. I found joy in organizing the calendar, researching what they should be learning at what stage, and things of that nature. If you are an artist, find projects that allow your children to tap into the creativity you have given them. Look for ways to connect to your passion to your children so that their world can expand and in turn; you will not feel like you are trapped in a box!
