Fearlessly Happy

Today I want to encourage you to smile! Really smile without inhabitation, grace and accept the potential for more smiles. You are worth a great day, some good news, a great year. Stop waiting for something bad to happen and enjoy each moment for what it is. Your worth it… and let me tell you a secret, God wants it for you. Selah #SLiM

Work hard REST hard

When creating a world of creativity and success it’s important we remember the value in resting. When you rest you allow your thoughts and body to reenergize.  There is a scripture in Psalms 46:10 that says be still and know that I am God. Working all the time weighs on your heart and mind especially if you are doing work that is primarily a service for other people in the community. I wanted to remind someone today that it is OK to rest. Take an hour, half a day, 30 mins to quiet your body and thoughts and tune into a refreshing peace.

Have your Way Lord

The most powerful thing you can do is allow God to have His way in your life. When God inspires you, it is then your responsibility to move as God says move. You are smart, creative, and capable… but God is Omnipresent, all knowing, and all powerful. In God the impossible becomes possible. So be thankful for the inspiration, then show your gratitude by infusing His love and vision into everything you do.

Clean House

If you don’t like where you are right now, then it’s time to clean house! The year has not yet come to a close so you still have the opportunity to meet your goals and achieve your dreams.

Look around, what in your life can you alleviate? What in your life do you need to elevate? Be practical make a list… You have control over your future but you have to demand it. If you want to be healthy buy healthier food, if you want to start working out you may need to wake up early or stay up a little bit later to get into the gym, if you want a healthy relationship then you may need to quit a relationship that’s toxic!

There are only a few more months left in this year don’t live it haphazardly, make today the day that you begin to live intentionally. Don’t be afraid to clean out those things that are not conducive to your best future. You’re not alone, I’m cleaning house this month too.😉 SELAH

Don’t be afraid to be your best

Confidence can be misconstrued as arrogance, know-it-all or some other title that is sent to diminish who you are internally. Today, I challenge you to be your best self inspite of who’s looking. You are made to be strong, incredible, and capable! When opposition comes and tries to blow your candle out… Speak louder, laugh harder, run faster because God made us triumphant, victorious and gifted with the ability to do our best!! SELAH

24 hours

Sometimes we can get so comfortable with life that we fail to see what our greatest influencers are. If you or I sat down and wrote out how the last 24 hours were spent… what would you find? If you don’t like how your time is spent, then it’s time make some adjustments.

You don’t have to conquer the entire 24 hours immediately, but today make the decision to change 1 hour of your day to be more constructive or productive. Over time your day will be filled with more of the things that you like and less of what you don’t. With that combination… you’re sure to propel your future. Selah #SLiM
