Forgiveness Friday

Here is a Prayer for Forgiving others:

Heavenly Father, I forgive anyone who has ever wronged me or hurt me
or cursed me or lied to me or prayed witchcraft prayers over me and I
bless them in the Name of Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father I ask You to
forgive me for any unforgiveness, any bitterness, any anger, any strife,
any animosity, and any resentment that I have in my heart toward anyone
at this time, in Jesus Name I pray. Amen.

An Attitude of Worship:

No matter where you are and what you are doing an attitude of worship can elevate the way your experience life.

What is an attitude of worship? It is when you can look into the face of life and see God in it. Guess what, as long as we live on this earth there will be both good days and bad days. But when we choose to find “God” in every situaion, we are taking a fighting stance in life. You may be late to work, but you can say, “Ok God you may have been protecting me from a potential car accident, thank you, Lord.” A relationship may end, but God may have been trying to get you the job you have been praying for located in the state your partner didn’t want to travel to.

The Bible says that all thing work together for our good. So if we stop looking at the situation and look at God, we will then see the glory in every story. That my friend is an attitude of worship. Choosing to live in a place where God rules, thrives, and has His perfect way.

Forgiveness Friday

Matt 18: 35: So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Refusing to forgive is a sin. If we receive forgiveness from God, we must give it to others who hurt us. We cannot hold grudges or seek revenge. We are to trust God for justice and forgive the person who offended us.

That does not mean we must forget the offense, however, usually, that’s beyond our power.

An unforgiving, vengeful, or bitter spirit will not only affect you and those around you, but it will also separate you from the blessing of God. Therefore you must forgive others no matter what the offense.

Thank you Pastor Pat Buckley for putting this transformative information online.

To get a prayer to help with forgiveness come back next week!

The Battle:

Every person on this earth has two sides of themselves. On the one hand, we have the part of us that strives to do good, and on the other, we have what is referred to as the “flesh” the impatient prideful and selfish side that demands to be seen and heard at all costs.

No matter where you are in your relationship with Christ you will have to continually battle both sides. There is no service, or magic pill you can take that will make you 100% one side and not the other.  So as Christians we must learn how to sacrifice our flesh daily.

Acknowledge the pride, selfishness or sin lying within our flesh so that God can come in and transform our imperfections.

Everyone must acknowledge and humble ourselves as people who need forgives. And that my friend is how we win the battle of life.

Meditation Monday:

There is power in silence.

Life is all about balance, we have to learn how to be still and have a moment of peace and quiet.  From silence, you can learn how to block off negative thoughts, stress concerning day to day issues, and lists that we have going on in our heads.  Check out this video concerning keeping priority straight in your life. When we learn to consider God in everything we do, then we unlock unparalleled peace and guidance for our day. Enjoy!

Rest Less

I for one am an advocate for resting, taking time for yourself, and appreciating life as it happens around you; but what I can not condone is the lackadaisical way some people choose to approach their life.

If you are a Christian, who wants to spend more time with God than you must become a person who can turn off the television or decline an outing if it conflicts with your time with God. If you are an entrepreneur, then you have to learn how to become a person who manages both time and people well. This means you may not have an hour lunch like your employees because you have things to handle on the job site.

I know this is not a popular concept, but it is the truth! If you want to succeed in life, you have to rest less. Stop looking for the vacation in life and dedicate yourself to work at hand. You WILL miss some of the “fun” things happening but guess what, when you look up later in life you will have built the empire of your dreams. God has not only given you a vision, but the audacity to see your vision through until the end. Selah

Meditation Monday

Do you know where your power lives?

In love… if we learn to love one another and love ourselves, we can then become people who love our jobs, our homes, and our community.  This meditation Monday tune into love. When something goes wrong in your day, ask yourself ” how can I help this situation with love?” Check out this new song from Tori Kelly, its a beautiful expression of love and worship. Selah

Say Hello to Today

Hello, today:

There is a motto that I say to myself at the beginning of the day. “Hello today, what happened yesterday is gone and what will happen today is up to me; so, choose peace, choose love, and choose excellence.” When you choose peace, you are choosing not to get involved in the negative energy of the day. When you choose to love you forgive quickly and look for a way to bless the people around you. When you choose excellence, you make the decision to go above and beyond, to give the day you’re very best, not just the minimum. So, if you haven’t already… say hello to today and be blessed! Selah
